• Declassification of Toxic Exposures Required by 2018 Defense Authorization Bill, HR 2810, passed by Senate on September 18. "The Secretary of Defense shall declassify documents related to any known incident in which not fewer than 100 members of the Armed Forces were exposed to a toxic substance that resulted in at least one case of a disability."
• Senate Intel slips sentence into bill that could lead to spying on US citizens by Tim Johnson, McClatchy, September 12. "A Senate panel may be stealthily trying to give federal law enforcement a new tool to go after the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks and its U.S. collaborators."
