CRS TITLES LISTED IN NEW ANNUAL REPORT
The Congressional Research Service prepared 1,197 new reports and publications last year, as well as 2,471 updates of previous reports. The new reports were identified by title and number in an internal version of the CRS annual report for fiscal year 2016 that has not been previously made public.

STATE DEPARTMENT PRESS BRIEFINGS RESUME
The Department of State held its first general press briefing on June 6 following a five-week hiatus.

Spokesperson Heather Nauert presided over the briefing, which included a typically broad range of press questions and official responses.
Ms. Nauert said the briefings would resume on a regular schedule from now on.
"The plan is right now we're going to do twice a week on camera and I look forward to talking with you all otherwise, okay? We'll see you again real soon," she said.
