Declassification Guidance 002-96

The following classification decision has been made in conjunction with A,B,W, and Z Groups and concurred in by the DDO:

RELEASABLE:

a. the "fact of" targeting Cuba and Cuban military forces (to include ground, navy, and air forces) in 1963;

b. the "fact of" targeting the Cuban Intelligence Network (CIN) in 1963; and

c. the "fact of" targeting Soviet forces in Cuba in 1963.

Please note that this release is LIMITED ONLY TO THE "FACT OF" TARGETING THE ABOVE-LISTED ENTITIES AND ONLY FOR THE 1963 YEAR; DETAILS OF THE TARGETS WILL CONTINUED TO BE PROTECTED.
