The following classification decision has been approved by the Director and concurred in by the DDO:
The decision to declassify the "fact of" targeting Iraqi communications during DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM, covering the period 2 August 1990 - 3 March 1991 has been concurred in by the DDO and approved by the Director. Details related to this topic will remain classified as specified in the NSA/CSS Classification Manual 123-2.
