Anthony Shaffer v. Defense Intelligence Agency, et al: Selected Case Files

In this lawsuit author Anthony Shaffer challenged the classification and redaction of numerous passages in his book Operation Dark Heart: Spycraft and Special Ops on the Frontlines of Afghanistan and the Path to Victory (St. Martin's Press, 2010). In an April 2015 ruling, a federal court affirmed the classified status of most of the redacted passages. An appeal is pending.
