USA v. Jeffrey Alexander Sterling: Selected Case Files
On January 6, 2011, the Department of Justice announced the indictment of former CIA officer Jeffrey A. Sterling on charges of unauthorized disclosure of national defense information. On January 27, 2015, he was convicted on nine felony counts. On May 11, 2015, he was sentenced to 42 months in prison. He was released in January 2018 after serving most of his sentence.
